Sundays are about the only days I can really try to take pics. It was about 23 below with the windchill today so I tried the mall. I forgot that this world has changed since 911 when security warned me not to take photos in their common areas. They also told me I had to have store owner's permission for any store photos. I was highly disappointed but I was able to met someone before I left.
Her hair caught my eye as I was about to leave the mall. She was looking in a hand held mirror and rubbing her eye while cussing. She looked up and smiled. When I asked her if she would mind if I took a photo she said "no" and I thought she wasn't interested. She quickly said "no problem" and actually asked me how I wanted her to pose! This was too much for me to handle. I had a very willing subject and I no idea what to do with it. I told her to pose as she liked and she gave me these two poses. I could have probably asked for more and then some.
She is 21 and works at a trendy type store with funky clothing. Her shirt had a cool quote around the neck "Even Hell Needs Angels". She had a great Spider Tat on the wrist of her left arm. I regret not taking a photo of that! oh well. I might have to ask her to pose for me again :P
This picture is #04 in my 100 strangers project. Find out more about the project and see pictures taken by other photographers at 100 strangers
