My boys and I met Kimberly and her beautiful daughter while waiting to go home today. Her baby was so cute and happy. She kept pulling on my older son's jacket and laughing when he turned around. She was very aggressive, but in a sweet way.
Before we met this Momma and Baby I was very tired and not in photography mode. I actually had to leave my Nikon in the car in the morning because I forgot to bring the battery (it was charging). I had my Kodak with me though - and I had no intentions of taking anyone's photo until I started talking to Kimberly. I took their photo and she took ours with her Camera Phone.
Kimberly's first date took her to a Monster Truck show in Colorado Springs. She said she couldn't hear for a week after that. I asked if it was the date's idea and she said no it was his mother's. Kimberly had just gotten back from a weekend in Wisconsin where she was driving snowmobiles with friends.
Kimberly rides motorcycles. She rides behind her partner's bike and does tricks. Her partner has a Ninja - style racing bike. I asked her if she rides with those bikers that take over the entire expressway and she laughed and nodded. She wears a special jacket that's connected to the bike. If there is an accident it blows up like an airbag.
After helping her on the train ( she had lots of bags and that cute baby ) I told the boys to let her have some space and we sat in the back. My son's were so in love with the baby they kept wanting to go sit with them. We actually should have.
As we were leaving Kimberly said that if we saw them again we should not be strangers. I replied that if I saw her again I wanted it to be on her bike. She said their bike was the color of her top and so was her tattoo...
Well of course I asked about the Tattoo and wondered where it was. She pointed behind her back and said " you know " and I was like oh yeah. Then she said I'll show you. She quickly pulled out her camera phone and scrolled down to a photo. She knew we were about to get off but wanted to show me....
and....wow....
Man, I really regret not sitting with her :P
